Tarot Card of the Day – August 12, 2009: Six of Wands
Tarot Card of the Day – August 12, 2009: Six of Wands
The
Six of Wands depicts a scene of victory. From the laurel wreath on the
man’s head–to the other laurel leaf that hangs across the wand he
carries–and lastly the budding laurel that appears on all of the wands.
Laurel also appears on the other wands cards as well, although this is
the first time I associated it with symbolism. The red ribbon on the
wreath around the wand seems is blowing in the wind, symbolizing
flowing passion or action. Sitting gallantly on top of his white horse
who is draped in a green cape. The green in this card makes me think of
nature and growth. This success is newfound and the celebration has
just begun. People are displaying support of this win and they are
holding their wands are straight up in the air.
Having drawn this card, it further clarifies the course of events in
my life that have taken place over the past few days. There are others
who are pleased about the positive outcome and they want want to
display their happiness. To be the recipient of their positive
affirmation builds further confidence.
Of course, this card can be applied to any other event. It feels
nice to be praised and we should also offer it to others since balance
always prevails. Reap in the rewards now, but always remain cognisant
of the situations at hand so that the state of victory and positivity
remains. If it doesn’t, we can work on whatever needs to be fixed so
that we can return to the top, or a similar position at the very least.
